The Philadelphia Phillies have been making news lately, and not just for the changes to their management team.
Recently, Citizens Bank Park and the Phillies rolled out their new dugout cooler cups, a powder blue and maroon beverage cup that fans were excited to use for cocktails and specialty drinks and take home with them as a souvenir after sipping at the park.
In a statement to USA TODAY, Jason Firestone, Senior Director of Concessions for Aramark Sports + Entertainment at Citizens Bank Park, said, “Aramark Sports + Entertainment is focused on creating food and beverage moments that resonate beyond the game itself, and this is a great example of that approach in action. When something connects so quickly with fans, it reinforces the importance of continuing to push creatively and deliver unique offerings that feel both new and familiar at the same time.”
The limited-edition cups were such a hit that they've already sold out, an Aramark Sports + Entertainment spokesperson confirmed - much to the dismay of fans who love to collect as much Phils gear as possible.
But fans could soon be in luck again.
While the initial rollout of the now-viral cups have sold out, an Aramark Sports + Entertainment spokesperson told USA TODAY that Phillies fans should be on the lookout for another special offering during this summer's MLB All-Star week, which will be hosted at Citizens Bank Park.
If you missed your chance to grab a cooler cup, don't worry. There are still plenty of cool promotions and giveaways available for Phillies fans this season.
