The 2026 NFL Draft is in the books after an epic weekend in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The event in the Steel City broke the league’s attendance record for the draft, with a whopping 805,000 fans in attendance throughout the three days.

Now, all of the attention will turn to the upcoming season, where the 2026 rookie class will look to earn their spots on NFL rosters and prove that they belong in the league.

Then, the league will do it all over again in one year, for the 92nd annual player selection.

Where is the 2027 NFL Draft?

The 2027 NFL Draft is currently scheduled to be held at the National Mall outside of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. The event will be held in April 2027, but the exact dates are yet to be determined.

President Donald Trump and Washington Commanders owner Josh Harris announced the news during a press conference at the Oval Office in May 2025.

It will mark the first draft held in the nation’s capital since 1941. Over one million fans are projected to be in attendance, which would smash the recently set record.

The New York Jets are currently slated to have three first-round draft picks in the 2027 draft, after trades with the Indianapolis Colts for star cornerback Sauce Gardner and with the Dallas Cowboys for All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. We’ll have to see how the upcoming season plays out to determine the draft order.
