The Tennessean's Aria Gerson projects Ole Miss as the No. 13 overall seed, hosting USC, Miami (FL) and Saint Joseph's in an Oxford regional. The Rebels would face No. 4 seed Auburn in a potential super regional. Gerson previously projected Ole Miss as the No. 16 seed.
In the latest Baseball America projection, Ole Miss is not a host. As the No. 17 seed, the Rebels would just barely miss out on a hosting bid and instead be sent to No. 16 seed West Virginia's regional. Liberty and Binghamton are the other projected regional opponents. This regional would be paired with No. 1 seed UCLA's for super regionals. Ole Miss was also No. 17 in last week's projection, but with Oregon State as its regional host.
D1Baseball's projection also did not include Ole Miss as a top-16 national seed. Instead, the Rebels are the No. 18 national seed, placed in No. 14 seed Oregon State's regional with Arizona State and Niagara. Georgia would be the potential super regional opponent. Ole Miss was the No. 19 seed in last week's projection.
