There are some notable Penn State players worth paying attention to today as the second and third rounds play out. The top player on the board may be defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton. By most accounts, he would likely be the next Penn State player to come off the board, and that may happen somewhere in the second round.
Safety Zakee Wheatley and quarterback Drew Allar would likely be the next players to hear their names called. Each could be potential third-round draft picks later on Friday evening. Wheatley has been linked to the and Allar is a bit of a wild card at this point. With teams placing so much value on the quarterback position, it is possible Allar could be a second-round pick if the right team comes along with a need for some QB depth, but it can be difficult to predict just how these rounds may go.
