The first of the year's three grand tours in women's cycling is here, with La Vuelta Femenina serving up seven stages of racing in Spain.
While this year's route is the most challenging yet, the peloton can take some relief in Demi Vollering's decision to skip this year's edition. Vollering took the red jersey the last two years and dominated the spring classics, winning Liege-Bastogne-Liege, La Fleche Wallonne, the Tour of Flanders and Omloop Het Nieuwsblad.
The Dutch have dominated La Vuelta Femenina, with Vollering or countrywoman Annemiek van Vleuten winning every edition since 2021, and veteran Anna van der Breggen could be the best bet to continue that streak this year after finishing third in 2025. Among other possible contenders are 2025 Tour de France Femmes winner Pauline Ferrand-Prevot and Vollering's teammate Juliette Berthet, who finished fifth a year ago.
It should be a wide-open race across seven days in northern Spain. Here's all you need to know to tune in each day.
The 2026 edition of La Vuelta Femenina will not air on traditional broadcast television but can be streamed live on Peacock.
Peacock features live coverage of the Tour de France, NFL Sunday Night Football, the NBA, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Premier League soccer, Big Ten football and basketball, Notre Dame football, Big East and Big 12 basketball, PGA Tour golf, the Tour de France and more.
La Vuelta Femenina 2026 will consist of seven stages from Sunday, May 3 to Saturday, May 9. The stages are listed below, along with the live stream start time for Peacock each day.
| Stage | Start/Finish | Time (ET) |

This year's La Vuelta Femenina will take place entirely in northwest Spain, beginning in Galicia and concluding at L'Angliru.
There is only one flat stage in 2026 and no time trials, putting the emphasis on climbing and encouraging attacks.
The final stage is also the longest, 132km (82 miles) from Pola de Laviana to the brutal finish at L'Angliru.
Winners of the past six La Vuelta Femenina races are below. The race consisted of three stages in 2020, four in 2021 and five in 2022 before expanding to the current seven in 2023, when it also took on its current name.
