Professional cyclingâs first Grand Tour arrives this week with the start of the 2026 Giro dâItalia. The three-week race starts in Nessebar, Bulgaria, on May 8 and ends in Rome on May 31 after winding through some of the most grueling climbs in professional cycling.
The last three winners â Simon Yates (2025), Tadej Pogacar (2024), and Primoz Roglic (2023) â will not be competing in this yearâs Italian Grand Tour, leaving the field wide open.
