When Arsenal learned their knockout draw for the Champions League knockout stages, there were plenty of reasons to be positive. The Gunners had a relatively favourable run to the final, and by finishing top of the League Phase they’d guaranteed home games in every second leg.
But the one small negative from the draw was that Arsenal were designated the ‘away’ team in the event that they reached the final, which they now have. As a result, the Gunners will get the away dressing room, they’ll be second on the scoreboard, and so on.
In addition, that means Paris Saint-Germain are guaranteed to be allowed to wear their home kit for the final. But the good news is that Arsenal are set to wear their home kit as well.

If Bayern Munich had progressed to the final, it would have been a different story. Bayern would have worn red, and Arsenal would have had to wear one of their alternative kits.
But PSG’s kit is largely blue, with a blue shirt, blue shorts, and blue socks, so it won’t clash with Arsenal’s red and white kit.
Given Arsenal wore yellow in their only previous appearance in a Champions League final, this would be the first time in the club’s history that they’d been able to wear the famous red and white in Europe’s biggest fixture.

As usual in a major final, the expectation is that the shirts will also have unique detailing with the fixture details on the front of the shirt.
The one remaining uncertainty is whether or not Arsenal might opt to wear next season’s home kit. The Gunners have made a bit of a habit of debuting their new home shirt before the end of a given season, so it’s not impossible they might wear the 2026/27 home kit.
Regardless, the team should be wearing red and white at the Puskas Arena on May 30th.
