All in all, Davis was only able to compete as he would have hoped, which did not help his draft stock. However, that did not hurt his chances of seeing his name get drafted during the 2025 MLB Draft.

"Davis battled injuries and inconsistency while recording a 5.61 ERA in three seasons at Oklahoma State, though the White Sox still drafted him in the fifth round last July because he has a mid-90s fastball that touches 100 mph and a tight upper-80s slider. They're working well in his pro debut as he sports a 1.80 ERA, .200 average-against and a 25/6 K/BB ratio over 20 innings at High-A."
The White Sox would likely like to have him develop as a starter, and he has room to put even more muscle on, adding to his velocity. But if he heads to the bullpen, he does have the fastball and slider to fill a high-leverage role in the future if it comes to that.
