Pencils down: the 2026 NFL Draft has come to a close, and the New Orleans Saints have announced their eight-man rookie draft class (plus a late-round pick swap to grab a veteran player). They've taken a more conservative approach since hiring head coach Kellen Moore, eschewing the aggressive trades up in early rounds that defined the usual approach under longtime general manager Mickey Loomis. The Saints found some instant contributors with their first two picks; Tyson will immediately draw a lot of targets opposite Chris Olave, while Miller figures to see a heavy workload in the rotation at defensive tackle. Delp frees up tight ends Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant to move around the formation. You'd like to have come away with a twitched-up edge rusher (and Wilson may fill that need) or a reliable nickel in the early rounds, but Rome wasn't built in a day. has more work to do now that the draft is over.
