After Virat Kohli surpassed MS Dhoni's match tally in IPL, Rohit Sharma is next in line to go past the CSK legend. Mumbai Indians are scheduled to face Punjab Kings on Thursday, May 13, in Dharamsala and in that game, Sharma is likely to go past Dhoni's tally and equal Kohli's record.
MS Dhoni is yet to feature for CSK in the ongoing season and it is still uncertain whether the veteran star will feature even in one game this season. Also, there are speculations that Dhoni could call it a day at the end of the IPL 2026 season.
