With the district championships settled, the final step in the high school softball season is the state playoffs.
The state brackets were released Friday, May 1.
This will be the final softball rankings of the 2025-26 school year.
Teams' districts and records are included. Records are through April 30.
The Bulldogs finished out a dominant regular season and district tournament by downing Viera 11-0 in the District 7-6A championship game. Their lone loss occurred April 4 against Doral Academy, which is 23-2 after winning the 15-6A district championship.
Last Week: No. 1
Eau Gallie rolled to the 8-4A title by first defeating Rockledge 11-1 and then Satellite 13-3 in the district championship game.
Last Week: No. 2
The War Eagles were dominant on their way to the 8-3A title, defeating Atlantic 15-0 and Cocoa 14-0 in the championship game.
Last Week: No. 5
The Hustlers cruised to the 8-2A title, defeating Cocoa Beach 12-2 and Space Coast 7-1 in the championship game.
Last Week: No. 4
The Bears had to win three games en route to the district championship. They defeated Westwood 20-0, Legacy 5-0 and Sebastian River 4-2 in 8 innings in the title game.
Last Week: Unranked
On the bubble: Merritt Island Christian (12-6, District 13-1A); Viera (14-11, District 7-6A); Space Coast (11-11, Class 8-2A).
