The record for IPL’s fastest century is held by none other than The Universe Boss, Christopher Henry Gayle.
In a game against Pune Warriors India, on April 23, 2013, Chris Gayle embellished the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium by bringing up his century in just 30 balls. It’s a record that stands to this day.
Gayle went on to score an unbeaten 175 and helped the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) post 263-5 on the board, the highest total by a team in IPL history.
The record for the fastest century in IPL history is held by Chris Gayle, who scored it in just 47 balls.
As of now, three players, including Tilak Verma, Sanju Samson, and Quinton de Kock, have scored centuries in IPL 2023.
