The biggest question facing every WNBA team in training camp
WNBA training camps open with key questions for each team.
The Pacers will be missing seven players due to injuries for their season finale against the Pistons, including All-Stars Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam. The Pistons have fewer injury concerns, with only Jalen Duren ruled out.
INDIANAPOLIS â The Pacers' final injury report of the season looks just like the last two and has seven players already ruled out for Sunday's 6 p.m. season finale at home against the Pistons.
As has been the case all week, All-Star forward Pascal Siakam (left ankle sprain), forward Aaron Nesmith (cervical strain) and point guards Andrew Nembhard (thoracic and lumbar injury management) and T.J. McConnell (bilateral hamstring soreness) have all been ruled out. All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton (torn right Achilles tendon), center Ivica Zubac (fractured rib) and forward Johnny Furphy (right ACL tear) had already been ruled out for the season. Forwards Jarace Walker (left foot sprain), Kobe Brown (lumbar strain) and guard Ben Sheppard (right hip sprain) are all listed as questionable. Walker and Brown have played the last two games despite the injury designation but Sheppard has not.
Insider: With lottery odds, Pacers could help themselves âmake a standâ in 2026-27
The Pistons have surprisingly few players on the injury report considering that they've already clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Center Jalen Duren is out for right knee injury management and guard Wendell Moore Jr. is out as a two-way player, but everyone else is listed as available.
The Pacers (19-62) have already clinched a bottom-three finish in the NBA standings which means they will have the best possible odds of winning one of the top four picks in the NBA Draft Lottery. The Pistons (59-22) are trying to win 60 games for the first time since the 2005-06 season.
