The Cleveland Browns came into the 2026 NFL offseason with a few very clear needs for their roster, with the offensive line and the wide receiver rooms as clear needs this offseason.
After free agency and the NFL Draft, the Browns found a way to completely address both spots. They added two receivers and five new starting offensive linemen with a few more depth pieces as well.
However, ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi believes the Browns' most-improved position from this past offseason isn't the OL, but rather the WR room.
"The Browns didn't make a major receiver signing in free agency but double-dipped in the draft, selecting two wideouts with top 40 picks," Oyefusi writes.
KC Concepcion was drafted in Round 1 at pick No. 24, and Denzel Boston went in Round 2 at pick No. 39. Those two made the Browns' WR room the most improved position this offseason for Oyefusi.
But, considering the massive reshuffling of the OL, it's a bit of a surprise that the Browns' most improved position is their WR room when their entire offensive line is different.
The Browns added five new starting offensive linemen and two new receivers during the 2026 offseason.
Experts believe the wide receiver room has seen more significant enhancements compared to the offensive line, despite the addition of five new starters.
ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reported that the Browns' most improved position is the wide receiver room.

Cleveland drafted Spencer Fano in Round 1 at pick No. 9, and signed Zion Johnson, Elgton Jenkins, and Teven Jenkins in free agency. They also traded for Tytus Howard.
Looking at the Browns' OL in 2025 compared to 2026, it's much better than how it ended the year. However, compared to how it looked at the start, fully healthy, this OL doesn't have as big an advantage over last year's unit.
But the WR room last year with Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman, Isaiah Bond, Malachi Corley, Jamari Thrash, and others, is significantly better this season with the additions of both rookies in Concepcion and Boston.
Concepcion, Boston, and Jeudy are a solid WR trio, and compared to 2025, it's a massive step in the right direction from what the OL looked like to begin the season for Cleveland last year.
Concepcion, Boston, Jeudy, Tillman, and Bond are a much-better WR room than last year, as they didn't lose anyone, and added two first-round caliber options from this year's draft.
