The Los Angeles Dodgers have a different look on Wednesday.
As part of Jackie Robinson Day, the script lettering on the front of the Dodgers' blue caps is a 'B,' rather than an 'LA.'
It's far from the only way the Dodgers are recognizing Robinson's contributions. Just like all the teams around the league, they'll have the number 42 on the back.
There are also plenty of festivities planned at the ballpark.
But maybe the most subtle yet noticeable is that 'B' on the front of each and every hat.

That 'B' is for Brooklyn.
Robinson played his whole MLB career for the Dodgers, yes. But when he broke through in 1947, they still played in Brooklyn.
So in recognizing his debut, the Dodgers recognize the city where Robinson began his major league career -- and where he played his whole career.
Robinson played 10 seasons in Brooklyn, and the Dodgers were in the borough for one more year after Robinson.
They moved to Los Angeles for the 1958 season.

The Dodgers got their name from their Brooklyn roots -- they were first known as the Trolley Dodgers before it was shortened.
Robinson played for the team affectionately known in those days as 'Dem Bums.'
Brooklyn was where Robinson made history, and the Dodgers will represent that on their caps on Wednesday.
