Fans are always hoping for their team to get a steal in the NFL Draft, and the Dolphins just got one in Louis, the standout linebacker who has a lot more versatility than the normal linebacker.
For Pittsburgh this past season in college, Louis played in the box, along the defensive line, and also played in the slot as well.
The 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker, who is just 22 years old, had a great combine. He ran an impressive 4.53-second 40-yard dash with a 39.5 vertical jump, a 10'9'' broad jump, and showed some agility with a 6.97-second 3-cone drill and a 4.26 20-yard shuttle.
Louis was a highly-touted prospect, and easily could've gone a bit earlier in the draft. Instead, he slipped down the board, and the Dolphins were able to select him at No. 138 overall.
Jeff Hafley is getting another defender in this year's draft class, and this might be one of the more fascinating selections with his upside and versatility.
