Jadarian Price was selected by the Seattle Seahawks as the No. 32 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, landing in a favorable situation compared to Jeremiyah Love, who was picked No. 3 by the Arizona Cardinals. Price's potential as a starter comes after a successful college career, while Love faces competition in a rebuilding team.
The Seattle Seahawks selected former Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price with the No. 32 overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft. There was some pre-draft chatter that Price's stock was complicated by his role behind Jeremiyah Love with the Fighting Irish. Ironically, he landed in a better situation with the Seahawks than Love did.
Price was limited to 113 carries throughout 2025. He converted those opportunities to 674 yards, 6.0 yards per carry, and 11 rushing touchdowns. Price only registered 15 total receptions in three years at Notre Dame, but has already shown off his pass-catching ability at Seahawks rookie minicamp.
Love was drafted by the Seahawks' NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals at No. 3 overall. Though he projects to receive the bulk of their workload, he's joining a crowded running back room that features James Conner, Tyler Allgeier, and Trey Benson. They're also a rebuilding squad with no quarterback solution on the roster.
Love may put up monster statistics for the Cardinals, but they'll be empty calories, similar to what Ashton Jeanty did for the 3-14 Las Vegas Raiders a year ago. Meanwhile Price is joining the Super Bowl defending champions who lost MVP Kenneth Walker III to free agency and Zach Charbonnet to an ACL injury. Price should start for an offense with lofty expectations of repeating their 2025 success.
