Yes, Konsta Helenius was called up from AHL Rochester to the NHL's Buffalo Sabres this week.
But he won't be playing Game 6 on Friday night in Boston against the Bruins.
The Sabres will have at least one forward change. Noah Ostlund is out injured, but the expectation is that Josh Norris will return from his own injury to take that spot.
Helenius, though, will just be in the building and watch.

Helenius isn't playing because, at least for the moment, he wasn't called up to play.
He was called up with other AHL teammates when Rochester's season ended to add more practice bodies and to learn from the experience.
It does seem like Helenius could break through into the lineup if another injury or two occurred, but the Sabres wouldn't be rooting for such a thing to happen anyway.

The 19-year old Helenius played 63 games this season with the AHL Rochester Americans and just nine with the Sabres. He had 21 goals and 41 assists (62 points) in his 63 AHL games. With the Sabres, Helenius had four points in nine games -- a goal and three assists.
Reports out of Buffalo's practice on Thursday were that the AHL call-ups worked as their own group. They weren't incorporating into any of the NHL lines.
Until that changes, there'll be no expectation of actually seeing Helenius in game action.
