Now 36 years old, Taylor was 1-3 as a starter for the Jets in 2025.
He won't have to start in Green Bay, though -- that's Jordan Love's job.
Taylor's signing stems from the departure of Malik Willis.
Willis was the QB2 for the past two seasons, but he signed with the Miami Dolphins in free agency.
That left a clear gap behind Love on the depth chart that had yet to be filled. Taylor will take that spot for sure.

Ridder has NFL starting experience but has turned into a journeyman. McCord is entering his second pro season after a record-setting 2024 campaign at Syracuse. Drones is an undrafted rookie out of Virginia Tech.
