A number of standout college basketball players went undrafted on Monday night in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
Maybe the biggest name was Raegan Beers, the former Oregon State and Oklahoma frontcourt star.
Beers finished her college career in 2025-26 with a season that included 15.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game while shooting 61.5% from the floor.
She scored 16.0 points on average across her entire college career with a 62.1 shooting percentage from the field.
Beers was one of the most effective players in the country for her entire career.
That didn't help her in the WNBA Draft, though.
This comes down to lacking areas of Beers' skillset.
First off, she's just 6-foot-2 -- not incredibly tall for the WNBA despite having a very interior-based skillset.
Add to that her shooting struggles -- just 24.1% from 3-point range in her college career. That doesn't pair with being an undersized frontcourt player.
And Beers only shot 59.7% from the foul line in 2025-26, which doesn't leave tons of hope for improving her overall shooting output.
She'll likely get a training camp invite, but Beers will have to prove herself every step of the way to have even a chance of lasting in the WNBA long term.
Despite her strong college performance, several factors such as team needs and draft strategy may have contributed to her not being selected.
Raegan Beers averaged 15.8 points and 10.4 rebounds per game in her final season, with a career average of 16.0 points and a shooting percentage of 62.1%.
The specific teams that showed interest in Raegan Beers during the draft process have not been disclosed.
