Packers president says Lions want home game, not Munich in 2026
The Green Bay Packers will not have a Round 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, marking another year without a top selection. This follows a trend of not picking in the top 10 since 2009.

Another year, another playoff appearance for the ever-reliable Green Bay Packers. With the NFL Draft rolling around, the Packers are experiencing yet another season without a top 10 pick.
The last time the Packers made a top 10 pick was 2009, when they selected B.J. Raji out of Boston College. George W. Bush was still in office when the Packers last picked in the top five.
The difference this year is that they're not picking in that 15-30 range in the first round. The Packers enter the 2026 NFL Draft without a first-round pick at all.
Here are the details on why the Packers lost their first-round pick and who they got in return.
NFL DRAFT RANKINGS 2026:QBs | WRs | TEs | EDGE | RBs
The Packers have eight picks in the 2026 NFL Draft:
| Round | Pick |
| 2 | 52 |
| 3 | 84 |
| 4 | 120 |
| 5 | 153 (from PHI) |
| 5 | 160 |
| 6 | 201 |
| 7 | 236 |
| 7 | 255 (compensatory) |
There may not be a first-round pick in this bunch, but there are still plenty of opportunities for the Packers to add starting-caliber players and additional depth pieces.
The selections are back-loaded, with five of eight coming in the last three rounds. That being said, Packers fans can still tune into the action to see who can contribute to the team in 2026.
MORE 2026 NFL MOCK DRAFTS:
The Packers traded away their first-round pick in both 2026 and 2027 as part of the trade that sent Micah Parsons from Dallas to Green Bay.
The Packers will double up with picks in rounds five and seven, however, allowing them to select more late-round talent, despite lacking the premier first-round name.

Barring any last-minute trades, the Packers will select their first pick in Round 2, at No. 52 overall.
Green Bay still has a total of eight draft picks, which is roughly par for the course this year. There may not be a superstar selection in Green Bay, but still plenty of opportunities to improve the team.
