The biggest question facing every WNBA team in training camp
WNBA training camps open with key questions for each team.
AJ Green of the Milwaukee Bucks is set to play against the Philadelphia 76ers, with the potential to break Ray Allen's 3-point record. The Bucks are finishing a disappointing season, while the 76ers are vying for playoff positioning.
PHILADELPHIA – The Milwaukee Bucks wrap up one of their most disappointing seasons in recent memory April 12 at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Philadelphia is locked into the postseason in some fashion, though they are in a battle with Toronto and Orlando for the final playoff spot and/or a higher play-in position.
The Bucks (32-49), on the other hand, could use a loss and a Chicago Bulls (31-50) victory over Dallas to earn a chance to win the ninth-best draft position.
Milwaukee Bucks guard AJ Green (20) smiles after teammates celebrated him setting a franchise record by making 11 3-pointers against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday April 10, 2026 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Bucks guard AJ Green set a single-game franchise record for made 3-pointers with 11 on April 10, and that explosion set him up for a chance to break the single-season record against Philadelphia.
Green is just three 3-pointers away from breaking Ray Allen’s 2001-02 record of 229 made 3s in a season. Green passed Damian Lillard (220) and Malik Beasley (224) with his barrage from beyond the arc last game.
No.
The Bucks ruled Giannis Antetokounmpo out with a hyperextension and bone bruise in his left knee, which was suffered on March 15 after he landed awkwardly following a dunk.

The “battle” between the Bucks and Bulls for the ninth-worst record matters because the team that finishes with the 10th-worst record has no chance to win the No. 9 pick. Should the teams finish with the same record, the tie will be broken with a random drawing held later in April to determine the order of selection.
But that’s not the only tanking race to keep an eye on for Bucks fans.
In the Western Conference, New Orleans (26-55), Dallas (25-56) and Memphis (25-56) are bunched up, and the worst team in that group could have a 37.2% chance to win a top-four pick. The best team could see those top four odds drop as low as 26.2%. This matters because if New Orleans lands a pick lower in the draft than Milwaukee, the Bucks keep their original position.
If the Bucks somehow jump over the Pelicans, New Orleans can swap position as a part of the 2020 Jrue Holiday trade. (Atlanta would then take that pick from New Orleans due to an unrelated 2025 trade. That has no bearing on Milwaukee).
To give themselves the best chance to leave Philadelphia with a loss, the Bucks have ruled out most of the team.
The game is set to begin at 5 p.m. CT.
The game will be broadcast locally on FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin with Lisa Byington, Wesley Matthews and Melanie Ricks on the call.
Philadelphia is a 15.5-point favorite over Milwaukee while the over/under is set at 226.5 points, per BetMGM.
