Cotie McMahon, a standout from Ole Miss women's basketball, has been invited to the 2026 WNBA Draft, scheduled for April 13. If selected, she would be the fourth player drafted under coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin and the ninth in the program's history.
Will Ole Miss women's basketball star Cotie McMahon be a first-round pick in 2026 WNBA Draft?
Less than a month after the Ole Miss women's basketball season ended in the NCAA Tournament, Cotie McMahon will turn her attention to the 2026 WNBA Draft.
McMahon is one of 15 prospects the WNBA invited to attend the draft on April 13 (6 p.m. CT, ESPN) at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York.
McMahon will make it three years in a row that an Ole Miss player has been drafted McMahon would also be the fourth Ole Miss player selected during coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin's tenure and the program's ninth overall.

McMahon is widely projected to be a first-round pick in this the 2026 WNBA Draft.
ESPN has McMahon projected the highest. In this mock draft, she is listed as the No. 9 pick going to the Washington Mystics.
The Athletic also has McMahon projected as a first-round pick. That mock draft predicts she will be taken No. 14 by the Seattle Storm.
USA TODAY and CBS Sports both predict that McMahon will be taken by the Connecticut Sun with the No. 15 pick, the final pick in the first round.
This is McMahon's most commonly projected landing spot. The Sporting News and Sports Illustrated also have McMahon going to the Sun at No. 15 in their mock drafts.
Bleacher Report's mock draft differs significantly from the others. It projects McMahon as a second-round pick. In that mock draft she still ends up with the Sun and the No. 18 pick.
This season, McMahon averaged career-highs in points and assists. Her 19.5 points per game were third in the SEC, and her 3.0 assists per game led Ole Miss. She also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals and shot 45.1% from the field and 28.6% from the 3-point line.
McMahon won SEC Newcomer of the Year and was selected to the All-SEC first team. She was also named an All-America honorable mention by USA TODAY, the AP and the USBWA.
