Wisconsin's quarterback room is praised as the best it has been in years, according to insider Nick Osen. He highlights the depth and potential under coach Luke Fickell, despite past injury issues.

These last few seasons, the Wisconsin Badgers simply haven't had quarterbacks that have what it takes to compete in the Big Ten.
Some of that boils down to injuries or things of that nature, but 247Sports Nick Osen recently sat down with Brian Butch and had raving reviews for what Luke Fickell has done with the QB room.
"The quarterback room is in the best spot it's been in under Fickell and I would argue probably in the last six or seven years," Osen said. "There have been some other top quarterbacks that got hurt or things like that,"
"But I think I trust more than just one or two guys in that room. If you know, knock on wood, there are no injuries and things of that nature that we have seen a ton of the last couple seasons."
Old Dominion transfer Colton Joseph is the undeniable week one starter, but injuries have haunted this team in the past. Should that happen, true freshman Ryan Hopkins has been turning heads and it's clear Oson, who was at 14 of the team's 15 spring practices, knows this team is ready to exceed all expectations.

Nick Osen stated that Wisconsin's quarterback room is in the best condition it has been in the last six or seven years under coach Luke Fickell.
Injuries have significantly impacted Wisconsin's quarterback performance, limiting their ability to compete effectively in the Big Ten.
Improvements include increased depth and trust in multiple quarterbacks, which Osen believes enhances the team's competitive edge.
