Wisconsin Badgers football is currently ranked No. 13 in recruiting for the class of 2027, following a strong start in May. The team has secured 12 commitments, with a significant focus on in-state recruits.
Luke Fickell's squad is off to a red-hot start in the month of May as the Wisconsin Badgers maintain a top 15 recruiting ranking in the class of 2027.
Currently, 247Sports has Wisconsin at No. 13. Keep in mind, this list doesn't take into consideration their latest addition, which was a junior college running back.
Fickell hit a home run when he brought in Julius Pope, but earlier in the day, he landed David Hill, which was a huge defensive addition.
In terms of the incoming class of 2027 recruits, Wisconsin has 12 players on the way. They still have to get through the 2026 season and maintain all of these commitments, but 75% of these players are in-state recruits.
The consensus No. 1 team is Oklahoma, which already has 21 commitments. Big Ten schools are aplenty in the rankings as USC, UCLA, Penn State, Ohio State, and Oregon are all ranked ahead of the Badgers.
