Seahawks keen to trade down, even within division
Seattle Seahawks are open to trading down in the NFL draft, even with division rivals.
Fans have debated the worst Miami Dolphins player of all time, with names like Tua Tagovailoa, Dion Jordan, and Eric Kumerow frequently mentioned. The discussion highlights poor draft decisions and their long-term impact on the team.
I think Jonah will be much improved this season. Grant as well on the DL, the full year in the trenches will help them on both side of the ball. **19Dolphin84** Iâm guessing is pointing to the worst draft decisions ever made, not the worst player ever. Ronnie Brown over Aaron Rodgers or Jake Long over Matt Ryan **Lefty5150** says itâs Tua. For me it is Tua. He was not terrible by any stretch until 2025 but there was one game that it hit me. He had two chances to save the Titans MNF game and he failed bc he basically either A) sucks or B) is not clutch. Turns out it was both. How a GM could not see it right then is beyond me. **Gator68** is highlighting some more bad draft decisions. Yatil Green 1st round pick.. trade up in the 1st round.. 2nd round pick traded for , was on someoneâs practice squad the next year after we cut him ⊠**Dolphster** points out a guy who was nothing short of a bust in Miami. There are plenty to choose from, but I have to go Dion Jordan. Not only did the team trade up to take him with the 3rd overall pick, and not only did he suck, but he even got suspended for illegal substances. He went on to have a few âokayâ seasons elsewhere, but he was abominable for the Phins. **coach k 13** highlights a first and second round bust and a possible future bust. Dion Jordan and Cam Smith comes to mind and if Jonah doesnât get his head out of his ass he will be another one soon. **StanleyDoyle1** points to one of Jimmyâs worst moves. John Avery â a Jimmy Johnson special. **TheRoo1** went with a general manager. Worst of all time Hmmmm
Fans have pointed to several players, including Tua Tagovailoa, Dion Jordan, and Eric Kumerow, as the worst in team history.
Critics argue that Tua's performance negatively impacted the team for several years, citing his inability to deliver in crucial moments.
Notable poor draft decisions include selecting Ronnie Brown over Aaron Rodgers and trading up for Dion Jordan, who underperformed significantly.
Dion Jordan, drafted third overall, was labeled a bust due to his poor performance and suspension, which left a lasting negative impact on the team.

Grier **DEdedhed** remembers a guy Miami took in the first round who was surprised to go so high because he clearly should not have! Best headline in Miami Herald historyâŠ.
WHO?
Eric Kumerow **Francesco ITA** points to Tua for the overall effect he had on the team for half a decade, or possibly more. Is clearly Tua, not based on skills but on the damage done on a long period of time. He derailed 5 years of our fans life⊠he destroyed a rebuilding⊠he escaped with the bag full of money⊠and his dead cap alone destroy next season too. And he was a top 5 pick ⊠and he was picked before better players⊠and he was already damaged goods⊠**MiamiItaliano** is another who still remembers how the Avery pick stung. John Avery. Traded down from 19 to 29, could have got Randy Moss. **Phoenix6** points to a Grier special! **Who is your worst Miami Dolphins player to ever play for the team over any extended period of time, and why?**
*Cam Smith!*
In the 2023 NFL Draft, Miami selected Smith 51st overall in the second round.
Got on the field, sucked, PS⊠then,
Got on the field, sucked, PSâŠ. then,
Got on the field, sucked, PS.
*Finally*, released.
Doofus. **madcitydave** points to a LB taken too high and a forgettable QB. Eric Kumerow and John Beck **DolfanBill** points to a guy who had a lasting negative effect on the team, even after he left. Jonathan Martin not only was bad pick but sunk the Dolphins that season and couple more seasons. Made the team the laughing stock of the league. Was all the announcers would talk about when the game was on as well. I ended up turning the Monday Night game off because I didnât want to hear about any longer. Definitely dropped my lifetime confidence of the team a little bit drafting that guy. Canât say that about any other draft pick. **NCDolfan** points to a guy who couldnât stay off the juice. Dion Jordan Well, that was a lot of past fan trauma there! Hopefully, the new braintrust in charge of this ship will make better overall decisions than some of those we have seen in the past.
