Jazz Chisholm Jr. isn't shy.
And so when the New York Yankees' second baseman said before this season that he wanted a 50-50 season (home runs and steals), everyone understood it to be, in part, just Jazz being Jazz.
But it's also a goal he set for himself very publicly, regardless of the likelihood, and at the moment, something notable is missing.
The season is almost a month old, and Chisholm doesn't have a home run yet.
One of the key components to reaching 50-50 is to actually hit homers. Chisholm doesn't have one yet.
He's the only Yankees regular not to leave the yard so far this season after Ryan McMahon finally got on the board on Friday.

At this point, it's not even worth considering that Chisholm goal, stats so incredible that only Shohei Ohtani has ever gotten to those numbers.
The Yankees would simply appreciate if Chisholm could find a way to get on the board with his first home run.
He is a streaky hitter -- last season, he started the year on fire, and this year, it's the total opposite.
The Yankees need some consistency, though, and could certainly use a bit less swing-and-miss from Chisholm.
Jazz Chisholm's 50-50 season goal is significant as it reflects his ambition and sets a high standard for his performance, which fans and analysts closely monitor.
As of now, Jazz Chisholm has not hit any home runs this season.
