âI think the defense is one of the areas that most needs security on the field, and we work on that every day with our teammates. I believe itâs not just about trusting myself, but also trusting the person beside me. The daily work and the trust we build day by day will also show on the field,â she said.

In an exclusive interview with CBF TV, Yasmin said when she first became interested in soccer and how she got started in the sport.
âMy passion for soccer began in 2014, watching the World Cup at home, and despite that defeat, it created a very strong feeling in me. A desire to be there came up, so from that moment on I wanted to play soccer. In 2018, I started at a soccer school in my hometown, and in 2022 I joined FerroviĂĄria,â she revealed.
Born in Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, the center back said her familyâs support was essential to making her move to Araraquara, SĂŁo Paulo, a success.
âAt first it was pretty crazy⊠A little over a thousand kilometers is far away, but my parents and my brother always supported me, so it was something we truly dreamed of and lived through together.â

Fridayâs match will be against Peru at 8 p.m. BrasĂlia time at EstĂĄdio Ameliano Villeta in Paraguay. The match will be broadcast live on SporTV.
