UFC veteran Darren Till will make his BKFC debut against former Bellator bruiser Aaron Chalmers.
“The Gorilla” is taking a break from Misfits Boxing as a result of the promotion’s inability to get a fight booked. As of this writing, the 33 year-old Till has a three-fight deal with BKFC, starting with the Chalmers bout on May 30 in Birmingham, England.
“I couldn’t turn down the offer,” Till told Ariel Helwani. “It excited me. It got my juices flowing. It’s a tough sport from what I’ve been watching over the years. These guys, they’re not like traditional martial artists or stuff like that. They’re all just … they’re very gritty, hard-punching guys, so you’ve got to come in here with a different type of mentality, which we will be doing.”
Sadly, the Mike Perry fight is off the table after “Platinum” ditched BKFC to fight Nate Diaz for Netflix MMA.

“Perry has gone off running to another organization again,” Till added. “Little shithouse. Just all the mongoloids fighting each other, honestly. My eyes hurt when I watch them all fight, I swear. It’s just a gang of mongoloids fighting each other. Broken bones, broken bodies. They can’t throw a proper job, can they? It’s just a gang of mongoloids fighting each other, it really is.”
Till has not competed since putting the screws to Luke Rockhold for Misfits Boxing last summer. As for the 38 year-old Chalmers, who once fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. for reasons not quite understood, he’s coming off a victory over Jack Fincham at BKFC 81 back in Sept. 2025.
