The Titans re-drafted Wan'Dale Robinson after Treylon Burks underperformed during his three seasons with the team.
Treylon Burks recorded a maximum of 444 receiving yards and one touchdown over three seasons with the Titans.
Roger McCreary had a declining number of starts with the Titans and was eventually traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2025.
The Tennessee Titans re-drafted Wan'Dale Robinson in 2026 after initially selecting Treylon Burks in 2022. Burks struggled with performance, recording only 444 yards and one touchdown in three seasons.
The 2022 NFL draft afforded the Tennessee Titans the chance to select their new wide receiver, Wan'Dale Robinson.
Instead, the Titans chose wide receiver Treylon Burks with the No. 18 overall pick. Burks never recorded more than 444 receiving yards or one touchdown in any of his three seasons with the team from 2022 to 2024.
Tennessee also selected cornerback Roger McCreary with the No. 35 overall pick. McCreary recorded one interception in each of his first two NFL seasons. However, the number of starts he received with the Titans decreased each year until 2025, when he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams.
The Titans ultimately signed Robinson to a four-year, $78 million contract in free agency in 2026.
Although other notable players such as Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III, second-team All-Pro wide receiver George Pickens, and two-time All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie were also available in free agency, Robinson's decision to sign with Tennessee makes him the clear choice over Burks and McCreary in this 2022 NFL re-draft.
Robinson reached 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in 2025, finishing with 1,014 yards on an average of 11.0 yards per reception. Tennessee's interest in Robinson led to the contract in 2026. Had he been selected on his rookie deal following the 2022 draft, Robinson could have been developed in the Titans' offense at a much lower cost while providing a valuable weapon for quarterback Cam Ward.
