Did anyone know the New York Yankees are a catching factory?
The franchise of Yogi Berra has produced a whole chunk of Major League Baseball's current catchers.
By one count, there are nine catchers in MLB right now who rose through the Yankees' system.
That includes three who are still with New York: Ben Rice (who normally plays first base), Austin Wells and JC Escarra.
There's Carlos Narvaez, with the hated rival Red Sox.
Luis Torrens of the Mets came up through the Yankees' system.
How about Agustin Ramirez with the Miami Marlins? He went that way in the Jazz Chisholm Jr. trade and has some of the best power of any catcher in baseball.
Former fan favorite Kyle Higashioka now plays for the Texas Rangers.

The most borderline on the list is Ben Rotvedt, who was already released by the Dodgers this season but latched on with the Mets' system.
And of course there's Gary Sanchez, the most notable former Yankees catcher. He was an early-career star with New York and overlapped some with Aaron Judge, but it never fully clicked in the long haul for Sanchez.
Sanchez, who they call The Kraken, now plays for the Milwaukee Brewers and is slugging homers deep out of the ballpark to begin this season.
It's certainly a long list of backstops, one that likely isn't matched by another team in baseball.
What's it worth? That's hard to say, but it is fascinating.
