Dana White reportedly forgot where he parked his Ferrari for two months at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Chael Sonnen recounted the story during an interview, revealing that he spotted the car in a fire lane outside the hotel.
Dana White once allegedly forgot where he parked his Ferrari.
Chael Sonnen was recently interviewing Steve Garcia, who fights Diego Lopes at the White House on June 14. Sonnen correctly guessed that Garcia was at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Sonnen then recalled a story from when he stayed a week at the Palace Station.
Sonnen claims he saw a black Ferrari parked in the fire parking lane outside the hotel. The former UFC light heavyweight stayed a week at the hotel and never saw the car move. Sonnen claims he somehow guessed that the car could be Dana White’s. When Sonnen asked White if he had parked his car at the Palace Station, the UFC head honcho allegedly thanked him. White had seemingly forgotten where he had parked his Ferrari for two months. White then told one of his men to immediately get the car back.
“I get to the Palace Station, there’s this beautiful black Ferrari right out front where the Uber drops me off,” Sonnen said on the ”Smash Cast” podcast. “But it’s parked in the fire lane. It’s on a red curb that says no parking. But this Ferrari was there. I stayed there a whole week and walked past this car, nobody towed it, nobody touched it, nobody said anything. And it dawns on me, ‘I bet you that’s Dana White’s car.’ So I go to Dana and I go, ‘I’m just curious, did you park a black Ferrari in the fire lane over at Palace Station?’ He thanks me and almost gives me a hug. He’s like, ‘I’ve been looking for that car. I lost that car two months at Palace Station.’ And then he yells to one of his people, ‘That Ferrari, it’s at Palace Station, go get it.’”
