The specific names of the top players being rested by the Carolina Hurricanes have not been disclosed, but the decision has been confirmed by head coach Rod BrindâAmour.
Resting players may improve the Flyers' chances of winning the game against the Hurricanes, which is crucial for their playoff positioning.
The Flyers benefited from previous games where the Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins rested players, impacting their playoff race positively.
The Carolina Hurricanes will rest several top players in their upcoming game against the Philadelphia Flyers, benefiting the Flyers as they push for playoff positioning. This decision follows similar moves by the Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins in recent games.

As teams have begun resting players ahead of the playoffs, it finally falls in favor of the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins have both rested players in games the Flyers needed them to win. Fortunately, the Bruins still pulled through with the win on Sunday.
Now, Philadelphia is on the benefitting side of it. Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod BrindâAmour has confirmed he will be resting some of his top guys on Monday.
Among them are Sebastian Aho, Seth Jarvis, Jordan Staal, Andrei Svechnikov, Jaccob Slavin, and Shayne Gostisbehere.
On the unfortunate side, it does look like starting goaltender Brandon Bussi will be between the pipes.
The Hurricanes can clinch the No. 1 seed and home ice advantage in the Eastern Conference with a point in the next two games.
On the other hand, the Flyers can punch their playoff ticket with a win in the next two.
I canât imagine the Canadiens laying down against the Flyers on Tuesday if Phillyâs playoff life is on the line. That means itâs critical that the Flyers take advantage of this.
