How many back-to-back Masters champions have there been?

Look: As of publishing this on Friday afternoon, Rory McIlroy is looking good at the top of the Masters leaderboard. Although we've been here before with the all-time great and we've seen some collapses, he DID win last year.

Which brings us to a question you might have as we watch to see if McIlroy can keep this up: Has anyone won the Masters in back to back years to retain the green jacket?

The answer is... YES! We've seen three golfers pull off the incredible achievement in their careers, and McIlroy could become the fourth.

• Jack Nicklaus won in both 1965 and 1966.
• Nick Falco won in 1989 and 1990
• Tiger Woods won in 2001 and 2002
