Duke Blue Devils men's basketball coach Jon Scheyer earned $2.38 million during the 2025-26 season, according to USA TODAY Sports. The new data reveals he's one of the most underpaid coaches in the sport at No. 64 overall. Six coaches have no data on the list.
For reference, former North Carolina coach Hubert Davis was making $1.5 million more than Scheyer last year. There are no ACC coaches ranked in the top 25. Clemson's Brad Brownell is currently No. 28 at $4 million per year.
Scheyer owns a 124-25 record over the last four seasons. Duke has only lost seven games in the past two years, which two of them were in ACC play. The Elite Eight loss to UConn was the third consecutive season ending during the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament for the Blue Devils.
Scheyer led the Blue Devils to a 35-3 record in the 2025-26 season behind National Player of the Year Cameron Boozer. He was also named NABC Coach of the Year. Duke was picked as a favorite to win a national championship in 2027.
