Lyon predicted XI v Lorient: Pavel Sulc and Malick Fofana out

Paulo Fonseca’s attacking options are limited as Olympique Lyonnais prepare to host FC Lorient on Sunday night.

Many of his players are in the ‘Red Zone’ and the Lyon manager is therefore needing to manage his squad. There are players who are guaranteed to miss Sunday’s game. Pavel Sulc, Malick Fofana, Rémi Himbert, Ernest Nuamah, and Nicolas Tagliafico are all out, with the latter continuing to serve the suspension that he picked up in the defeat to AS Monaco last month.

Then there are players whose minutes need to be managed, too. Corentin Tolisso, the club captain, is therefore not expected to start tonight, L’Équipeunderstands. Noah Nartey is expected to start in the No.10 position in his place. Due to the absences, Real Madrid loanee Endrick is expected to once again start, despite coming in for criticism from his own manager.
