Cameron Young posted a superb round of 65 on Saturday at The Masters to continue his incredible comeback after his disappointing start on day one.
And Nick Faldo was genuinely stunned by something that Young said after his fabulous third round at Augusta National.
The 28-year-old New Yorker was four-over-par after 11 holes of his third round and now he sits at 11-under after 54 holes â a quite remarkable turnaround.
Youngâs win at The Players Championship last month lifted him to a whole new level.

Now Young has a real chance of winning The Masters with just one round to play at Augusta National.
If he plays anything like he did on Saturday during the final round on Sunday, he will be slipping into a green jacket by the time the weekend is done.
The 28-year-old American will head into the final round at Augusta National on Sunday with a great chance of winning his first major championship.
Young spoke to reporters after his scintillating play on day three at Augusta National and responded when asked how heâs feeling ahead of the final round on Sunday.
âItâs obviously a life-long dream and youâve pictured it a million times,â Young admitted.
*â*But what has got me here is not really thinking of that.
âNothing has really changed. I am sure there will be some nerves but those were there on Thursday so there is no reason to think I canât do much of the same tomorrow.â

With all due respect to Young, the nerves he will feel on Sunday at Augusta may be slightly different from what he was feeling on Thursday.
During his commentary role on Sky Sports in the UK, Faldo admitted that he was shocked by Youngâs comments.
âHis nerves are only on Thursday,â said the Englishman.
*â*Wow, thatâs what Mr. Young just said. Itâs nice and relaxed for the weekend.
*â*If you prepare yourself for the right mental state, you donât wind yourself up through the week. Itâs more apprehension on Thursday, because itâs all brand new.
*â*You know, The Masters, howâs it going to go? Can you get yourself into a rhythm?
âAnd obviously he has. Thatâs the job.â
Young was asked what worked better for him over the past 36 holes after his struggles on day one.
*â*It is more of the same, honestly,â he replied.
*â*I just happened to have a few shots come down really close today. Got a tremendously fortunate break on 13 where instead of making six or seven, I made a four.
*â*It was one of those days. I hit a bunch of good shots, they donât always end up close, but today a lot of them ended up inside of six feet.
âThen the chip in on four, thatâs one of those that you donât really count on, I had a few of those today.â
Now Cameron Young will be desperate to continue the form he has shown on Friday and Saturday during the final round of The Masters on Sunday.
If he manages to do just that, the 2026 Masters champion will almost certainly be Mr Young himself.
