Yes, the Commanders are scheduled to select at No. 7 in the 2026 NFL Draft in 13 days. Greene was a guest on the Grant & Danny show on 106.7 The Fan on Friday, talking, of course, about the upcoming draft.

If you are unfamiliar with Greene, he is very entertaining and works extremely hard on the NFL draft. Greene is always a good listen. He had a lot to say about several players, but for the purposes of this story, I will narrow the focus of what Greene expressed regarding the Commanders and Jeremiyah Love.

When asked the best case scenario for the Commanders? Greene responded, "Your A+ scenario is Jeremiyah Love falls right into your lap." Greene knows how terrible the defense was in 2025, but added, "I like where the defense is headed. The defense is getting younger.
