
The All-America City Classic youth basketball tournament is happening this weekend in Tupelo, featuring over 80 travel teams from multiple states. The event runs from Friday to Sunday across several local venues.
A big youth basketball tournament will be held in and around Tupelo this weekend.
The All-America City Classic tips off Friday and runs through Sunday, with more than 80 travel teams from several states registered. Games will be played at multiple locations: Tupelo High School (both gyms), Tupelo Middle School, Milam Elementary, Tupelo Christian Preparatory School, Plantersville Middle School and the Tupelo Police Athletic League.
The tournament has been played for several years and is put on by CBR Sports.
âWith the conversation around developing a multi-sport facility in the city of Tupelo, this tournament would be a great opportunity to showcase how beneficial such a facility could be for the community,â said Demetra Sherer, one of the tournament organizers.
