The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting former Miami Hurricanes pass-rusher Rueben Bain for a top-30 visit ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. Bain, a standout with 20.5 sacks in college, is projected to be a top pick and could fit well in the Chiefs' defense.
According to veteran insider Ian Rapoport, the Kansas City Chiefs are hosting former Miami Hurricanes pass-rusher Rueben Bain for a top-30 visit ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Rueben is expected to be among the first defensive linemen who will hear his name called early in Round 1 of the Annual Player Selection Meeting, and may prove to be an ideal fit for Kansas City's defense.
In his three years with the Hurricanes, Bain tallied 20.5 sacks, 33.5 tackles for loss, and one interception. His contributions were crucial to Miami's run to the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship game earlier this year.
While it remains to be seen if the Chiefs will select a sack-master with their No. 9 pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, Kansas City is clearly doing its homework on the exciting young pass-rusher with just weeks remaining until Round 1 kicks off in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
