Cowboys Headlines: Jersey hints at veteran's fate; Dez Bryant recalls Offset run-in

When it comes to the half-dozen or so Cowboys free agents who haven't yet been signed by anyone else on the open market, any little nugget can be a hint as to what may be happening behind the scenes. The news that dropped Wednesday regarding seven-year veteran Donovan Wilson would seem pretty definitive. The safety's No. 6 jersey, which he's worn for the past five season, was just given to second-year defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku, likely closing the door on a possible return from Wilson. For Ezeiruaku, it's a reunion with the single-digit number he wore while at Boston College and a hint at just how much the Cowboys are expecting from him in 2026.
