Despite only a few games left on the regular-season calendar, Stephen Curry's sneaker tour continues to roll on.
On Thursday night, with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in town for the Golden State Warriors' regular-season home finale at San Francisco's Chase Center, Stephen Curry broke out a classic pair from his collection, honoring his longtime rival on the court.
Although he wasn't available for the game on the court, Curry laced up a special pair of Nike iD LeBron 10s for Thursday's game against James and the Lakers. Prior to signing with Under Armour, Curry was under the Nike umbrella, wearing Nikes regularly early in his career at Oracle Arena. The shoes Curry wore on Thursday came from his collection of Nikes that he wore on the court early in his career.
When the two future Hall of Famers greeted each other courtside, James quickly noticed Curry's shoes, saying, "out the vault."
With Curry sidelined, the Warriors dropped Thursday's contest to the Lakers, 119-103. James tallied a game-high 26 points to go along with 11 assists, eight boards, two steals and a block in 32 minutes.
Curry will have two more games left in the regular season to show off his kick collection before the Warriors suit up for the play-in tournament next week.
