The Premier League players with the most non-penalty goals ever
Mo Salah is now among the top five players with the most non-penalty goals in the history of the Premier League.
The Liverpool star scored a sumptuous goal against Fulham at Anfield on Saturday to take his overall tally for the club to 256 in all competitions.
An incredible 190 of them have come in the top flight over the past nine years, and 35 of those have come from the penalty spot.
Only four players have scored more non-penalty goals in the Premier League than the Egyptian winger, who has six more games to add to his total before leaving the club this summer.
But who are the legendary footballers ahead of him on the list?
Salah began his amazing goal scoring feats in the Premier League with Chelsea, finding the net twice during a disappointing spell with the Blues. After a few years in Italy, he returned to England with Liverpool, and the rest is history.
As well as having the joint-fifth most non-penalty goals, the 33-year-old is also fifth for most non-penalty goal involvements (250).

It’s hard to believe that Sergio Aguero only won the Golden Boot once while playing for Manchester City. The diminutive striker possessed a lethal right foot, although he was plenty good with the left as well. 27 of his 184 league goals came from the penalty spot.
Had he not left Spurs two years ago to join Bayern Munich, Harry Kane would undoubtedly be second on this list by now. And with 213 league goals to his name, the England captain would have been getting very close to the all-time record held by Alan Shearer.
One of the greatest attacking talents to ever come out of England, Wayne Rooney enjoyed a hugely successful Premier League career. 163 of his non-penalty goals came with Manchester United and the other 22 with Everton.
Noughties Nines – Wayne Rooney: An inimitable emergence
An unbelievably great goal scorer across a brilliant career, the most incredible thing about Andy Cole is that only one of his 187 Premier League goals came from the penalty spot.
No one has been able to catch Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals, but no one has been able to match the Newcastle United legend’s 204 non-penalty strikes either.
