Jordyn Tyson, a top wide receiver prospect for the 2026 NFL Draft, has scheduled an individual workout for NFL scouts on April 17 at Arizona State. He is projected as a first-round pick despite missing games last season, finishing with 711 yards and eight touchdowns.
One of the most highly-touted wide receiver prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft has set his own individual workout session next week ahead of the NFL Draft to show off his skill set to teams interested in drafting him.
According to reports, Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, who has been projected as a first-round pick in the upcoming draft, has scheduled an event for Friday, April 17, at Arizona State, where he will work out on his own in front of interested NFL teams. The private session will take place just one week before the NFL Draft, which kicks off in Pittsburgh on Thursday, April 23.
Tyson missed multiple games with the Sun Devils last season, but finished with 711 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. The season before, he was a 1,000-yard receiver, hauling in 1,101 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. NFL analyst Lance Zierlein compares Tyson to Terry McLaurin, a former third round draft pick who has had five 1,000-yard receiving seasons in his first seven years in the league.
"Learning from Super Bowl XL MVP Hines Ward helped unlock Tyson’s production and elevated his draft stock," Zierlein said. "He’s added size and improved his route running over the last two years, showing he can align at all three receiver spots. He occasionally rushes the route but has the short-area quickness and contested-catch toughness to find chain-moving grabs in high-leverage moments.
He’s not a blazer but has enough speed to work down the field. Also, he has the ball skills and body control to win above the rim with timing on 50/50 throws."
