If someone wants to land the best name in the transfer portal, there's only one guy who can comfortably claim that title.
His name is Tennessee Rainwater.
On Tuesday, he officially became a part of the portal, according to The Field of 68.
Rainwater is coming off a quality season at Le Moyne in which he averaged 9.8 points per game while making exactly 50% of his 3-point attempts.
He also put up 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.8 steals per game.
Rainwater had spent his first two college seasons at Utah Tech. In the second one, he put up 5.9 points per game.
His averages in points, rebounds, assists and steals have all improved in each of his three college seasons.
The 6-foot-6 wing is originally from Davenport, Washington.

It's hard to know exactly what he might be looking for, and figuring out his production in the NEC with Le Moyne might translate to a higher level is a tough one.
There is one spot to consider nearby Le Moyne, though. The Dolphins are in Syracuse, for those who didn't know. Could the Orange come calling?
It's at least worth a quick consideration for Gerry McNamara in case Rainwater really liked the snow he experienced this winter while at Le Moyne.
If it's not the Orange, maybe Rainwater looks to head back west. Could one of his state schools, Washington or Washington State, give him a look? Also: Could you imagine the marketing opportunities for the Tennessee Volunteers?
Rainwater definitely has the possibility of being decently productive wherever he ends up. It's just a matter of finding a good fit.
