When is Jackson State football's Blue and White game? What to know about 2026 spring game
The 2026 Jackson State football spring game is just around the corner.
The Tigers will play their annual Blue and White game on April 11 at the Walter Payton Center at 12:30 p.m. CT.
This will be the first opportunity for fans to see JSU football's revamped roster that includes 40 new additions. Last season, the Tigers finished 9-3 after losing to Prairie View A&M in the SWAC championship game.
The spring game is one of several events happening on JSU's campus on April 11, meaning parking will be limited.
Fans looking to attend the spring game can park in the T.B. Ellis Lot, College of Business Lot, Liberal Arts Lot or Poindexter Lot. Access to parking lots may be affected by a partial closure of Dalton Street, beginning at 5 a.m. CT, to accommodate a 5K happening on campus.
There will also be space for tailgating and RV parking in the parking lot by the Walter Payton Center. In order to secure a spot for an RV or tent, fans need to register here by April 10. It costs $100 for an RV space and $25 for a tent space. There are only 40 RV spots and 50 tent spots.
Fans who reserve a tent spot must bring their own 10-by-10 tent. Fans who reserve RV spaces can begin parking in the Walter Payton Center lot as early as 6 p.m. CT on April 10. No cars will be allowed in the RV parking area. Tents will be set up in the grassy area in front of the JSU tennis courts.
For attendees, the game will follow a clear bag policy, and no outside food will be allowed in. There will be bleachers for fans to sit in, or they can bring their own lawn chairs to sit in the grass next to the bleachers. At no point will fans be allowed on the field.
