Cameron Young has been making his name known to golf fans recently, if they weren't already in the know. To start the 2026 season, he made all six cuts of the six events he played in.

During his third round at Augusta National, he finished tied for the lowest third round score with a 7-under round to propel him up the leaderboard (Scheffler also scored 7-under on Saturday). The winner of the 2026 Players Championship and 2025 Wyndham Championship has been putting the golf world on notice, and has accumulated some handsome payouts in the process.

Cameron Young net worth

After the 2025 PGA season, Young's net worth was projected to be approximately $17 to $18 million, pending other financial reports coming after his win at this year's Players Championship.

This estimate captures his recent emergence, including his PGA Tour victories at The Players Championship in 2026, where he tallied winnings of $4.5 million, and the Wyndham Championship in August 2025, where he won almost $1.5 million.

Cameron Young career earnings

According to his PGA profile page, Young has accumulated $31,232,516 via tournament payouts. Last season was Young's highest-grossing year, as the New Yorker earned $8,789,813 in official money.

In 2026, he has already earned $6,471,920 after only six events. He will still await whatever winnings he comes away with from the Masters after making the cut following Friday's second round.

According to Spotrac, his earnings currently total at $38,034,594, factoring prize payouts and bonuses.

Cameron Young endorsements

Young has served as a brand ambassador for Peter Millar and iCapital, among others. He is also partnered with Empower, a retirement and wealth management company.

Most notably, Young is one of the few golfers sponsored by the MLB, explaining the league's patch he wears on his shirt collar. On an episode of the "No Laying Up" podcast in 2023, Young explained that his father was the head pro at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club. MLB commissioner Rob Manfred is also a member of the club, and when Young went pro, he took his family out to dinner.

"Afterward, Rob leaned in and said, 'Would you wear the MLB patch?'" Young recalled. "And at the time, I had just gotten [PGA Tour Canada] status or it was just before I got Canada status, so I was nothing, no status anywhere, essentially. And so I said, 'Absolutely, I'd love to.' And they've been there ever since and they've been an awesome partner."

Cameron Young business ventures and philanthropy

Early in 2026, Young worked with Wake Forest to create the Cameron Young Family Men's Golf Scholarship, Wake Forest Athletics announced. According to the school's athletics team, "The gift not only honors Young's legacy as a Demon Deacon and PGA Tour professional but also provides meaningful support to future student-athletes, helping ensure Wake Forest men's golf continues to thrive and develop champions both on and off the course for years to come."

Young also donated $25,000 of his winnings to support Folds of Honor in the RSM Birdies Fore Love competition. He accumulated the most birdies (or better) during a week in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Fall and chose to share his winnings with the foundation that supports military and first responder families.

“I’m grateful to support Folds of Honor through the RSM Birdies Fore Love program,” said Young. “These funds will provide educational scholarships and academic opportunities to deserving military and first responder families across the country, many of whom have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.”

Where does Cameron Young live?

Young lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Joining him at the Gardens is Northern Ireland superstar Rory McIlroy.

Fellow golfer Matt Fitzpatrick lives in the city of North Palm Beach, neighboring Palm Beach Gardens. Tiger Woods also lives nearby, in Jupiter Island.
