Liverpool predicted XI v PSG: Hugo Ekitiké to start against former club, Alisson out
Hugo Ekitiké is set to start against his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, when Liverpool head to the Parc des Princes for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.
Ekitiké is set to lead the line alongside Mohamed Salah. Despite nearing a return, there will be no place in the line-up for Alexander Isak. Arne Slot already confirmed as much in his pre-match press conference. The Dutchman must contend with the absence of first-choice goalkeeper Alisson, with Giorgi Mamardashvili taking his place between the sticks against PSG.
Liverpool are also without Conor Bradley and Wataru Endo. Jeremie Frimpong will start at right-back at the Parc des Princes. Virgil Van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Curtis Jones are all just one yellow card away from suspension for the return leg.
