Nate Diaz and Mike Perry have finally come face-to-face.
On May 16, Most Valuable Promotions hosts its first MMA event, broadcast live on Netflix, headlined by a womenâs featherweight fight between MMA pioneers Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano. The matchup was announced earlier this year, with an initial press conference in March featuring both women and the co-main event between Francis Ngannou and Philipe Lins.
Since then, the MVP MMA card added another massive bout, with âBMFâ originator Nate Diaz taking on the face of BKFC, Mike Perry, and a press conference on Wednesday, Diaz and Perry came face-to-face for the first time.
While both Diaz and Perry are known for their pre-fight antics, neither brought that sort of energy to the press conference, with both men speaking respectfully of each other and sharing a courteous face-off when they came eye-to-eye for the first time.
Rousey and Carano were, of course, also in attendance for the press conference on Wednesday, continuing their build of the fight in which neither has a bad thing to say about the other, and they, too, shared a respectful face-off again.
Rousey vs. Carano takes place on May 16 at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.
