He also returned 12 kickoffs, taking two back for touchdowns. The Packers, who need depth at running back, could see Bankston as an exciting run-catch threat who could return kickoffs at the next level.
Over his entire collegiate career, which includes four seasons at Weber State, Bankston rushed for 2,959 yards and 27 touchdowns and caught 65 passes for 729 yards and four more scores. His all-purpose yardage total ended up at 4,220.

While Bankston lacks ideal size, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds, hit 33" in the vertical leap, covered 10-3 in the broad jump, finished the 3-cone drill in 6.89 seconds and completed 21 reps on the bench press. His Relative Athletic Score, which takes size into account, is 8.15 out of 10.0.
Bankston is not ranked on the consensus big board. Dane Brugler of The Athletic ranked Bankston as his No. 36 overall running back in the draft class, suggesting he'll likely be a priority free agent for the Packers after the 2026 draft.
